Commissioner Harvey asked whether city staff had inspected the site. Deputy Clerk Mary Corral said no inspection had been completed because the planning and zoning vacancy had only recently been filled, leaving the review dependent on staff records rather than a new site visit.
The commission did not request design changes for Casa de Belleza and took formal action to approve the requested signs. No dates for installation or conditions tied to the approval were specified in the minutes.
The meeting moved on to other business after the vote.
