Airport staff report: hangar rental, maintenance work and fuel sales

The Airport Commission approved the minutes of its previous meeting with corrections and heard staff reports on hangar rentals, maintenance and fuel sales.
Airport Manager Mr. Robinson reported that Tyrell Shiflett will rent Hangar No. 7 on the airport's north side and that, overall, rentals are up to date. Commissioners asked whether any hangar remains available and whether a waiting list exists; staff member Ms. Mejia said she will provide those details at the commission's next meeting.
On maintenance, Mr. Robinson told commissioners the streets crew had cleaned the runway but that weed‑eating still needed to be finished. He said a board requested for the breakroom by Commissioner LP Jenkins had been installed, a requested card holder is on order, and staff have requested someone to paint and label the hangars.
Tony Maynes, the FBO representative, reported fuel totals of 16,166 gallons: 10,688 gallons of Jet A and 5,470 gallons of AVGAS. He also reported the field served about 375 aircraft during the reporting period.
Commissioner Burkhardt raised a previous discussion about moving a connex so it would not be next to the hangars; Mr. Robinson said he had no update and would bring information to the next meeting.
The commission adjourned at 11:22 a.m.; the next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 10, 2026.
