Cloud County commissioners and public‑health staff discussed options for the county Home Health program during their March 16 meeting, but left the matter unresolved.
Home Health Administrator Kendra Annon reported that the county has 27 personal‑care/bathing patients and 18 housekeeping clients and said price increases of $18–$25 have been sent to affected clients. Commissioners and Health Department staff, including Immunization Nurse Emily Goddard and Health Department Administrator Tonya Sulanka, reviewed three possible paths: closing the program, adding another full‑time registered nurse, or assigning Goddard as a working backup administrator. Sulanka also briefed the board on related grant activity the department is pursuing.
No motion or vote was taken on Home Health at the session. The Board asked staff to continue evaluating options and did not set a timetable for a final decision.
