Hackettstown board approves $4.66 million in bills, adopts financial reports and transfers

School Business Administrator James Schlessinger presented the financials, including the Secretary and Treasurer reports for the month ended Oct. 31, 2025; the board certified that, to the best of its knowledge, no major account had been overexpended as of Oct. 31, 2025 in compliance with N.J.A.C. 6A:23A-16.10(c).
The board also approved October budget transfers and new appropriations of $225,599.82 in Fund 10 and $5,100.00 in Fund 20. The check register item was approved by roll call; SEG minutes record that Board member Shawn Burke abstained from payment of three specific checks noted in the minutes.
