Finance director previews 2026–27 budget process; TISA estimate due at month-end

Jordan said the district expects the first TISA fiscal estimate from the state at the end of the month, based on student-data pulls scheduled for Feb. 16. He described TISA as historically the district's largest revenue source — roughly 60 percent of overall revenues — and said the finance team has reviewed prior data pulls from December and January to prepare. Once the state provides the estimate, the finance committee will begin work toward producing a budget for the board to consider at the June meeting.
Jordan thanked district data staff for preparing and "scrubbing" the underlying files and said the finance committee will continue to work toward a final budget after the state provides confirmatory numbers.
