Andrea explained the funding approach discussed previously: the RDA is asking the council to transfer half of the contract funds from TID; the RDA would cover the other half from land‑sale proceeds. The item was noticed for closed session but the board handled the approval in open session; members expressed strong support for Gilman's work and moved to approve the contract renewal.
Councilmember Janssen moved approval and members voted in favor. Andrea noted the contract would continue to return to the RDA annually for review and that any change in scope of work could be considered in future meetings. Chair Adam and staff thanked Jason for his ongoing coordination and monthly reporting.
