Chip Volkin, the city’s purchasing agent, opened the meeting and read department requisitions before the board voted on each item. "So the total proposed cost is $82,391.86," Volkin said when presenting the first award, for Maple Avenue sidewalk replacement to BMP Construction under a regional on‑call construction contract. The motion to award was moved, seconded and approved.
