The Board of Awards approved an award to GM2 Associates for construction inspection services on the TOD Streetscape project at a proposed cost of $553,600 under GM2’s existing on-call contract with the city.
Planning Director Wally Al Bakri submitted the requisition, and Volkin told the board a second proposal from on-call vendor Tectonic was higher (about $576,310). "GM2 proposed this work for their current on-call contract with the city of Danbury," Volkin said when introducing the item.
Al Bakri moved to award inspection services to GM2 Associates at the cited cost; Joanne Stirk seconded. There was no recorded discussion and the board voted unanimously to approve the award.
No contract start date, scope-of-work attachments, or milestone schedule were discussed on the record. The award was recorded as an on-call contract task order to GM2 Associates.
