Board accepts $12,000 bid for Rogers Park vending truck license

Purchasing agent Chuck Volkin said the item was a rebid and that proceeds would be paid to the city. "We received 3 bids, and the apparent high bidder was Gastronomia Patty Patty at a bid price of $12,000 to the city," Volkin said.
Director of Recreation John Ratchford moved to accept the $12,000 bid contingent on execution of a license agreement; Joanne Stirk seconded. The board voted in favor with no discussion recorded.
Volkin noted the award is contingent on a licensed agreement being executed; no additional terms, performance security, or insurance specifics were discussed on the record. The board moved on to the next agenda item after the vote.
