Chip Volker and the technology director described the original three-year award, signed in November 2024, at an annual cost of $120,083. For year two the technology director submitted a requisition increasing standard licenses from 780 to 795 and archive licenses from 517 to 557, bringing the year’s requisitioned cost to $123,483. Staff said the per-unit prices remained unchanged ($128 for standard, $39 for archive), and the increase reflects additional users and archival needs.
A board member moved to approve the added licenses and to award the requisition under the existing contract; the motion was seconded and the board voted unanimously to carry the motion.
Volker noted that the signed contract is already in place and that the requisition requires administrative override steps to process the charge.
