The Danbury City Board of Awards authorized an amendment to Arcadis’ agreement to update the vendor’s rate schedule consistent with the state's extended contract for environmental-remediation services.
Board convener Chip Volker described the 2020 award to Arcadis, noting the original award amount (about $188,275) and that the state extended the underlying contract through February 2027, at which time vendors were permitted to update fee schedules. A member reported that Dan Petrovich submitted an updated Arcadis fee schedule and that the amendment would reflect those state-approved rates.
A board member moved to amend the existing Arcadis agreement to reflect the current state-contract rates and stated there would be no increase to the existing purchase order, because the change would be covered by the remaining balance. The motion was seconded and announced as carried.
The amendment preserves the existing purchase order funding while aligning the city's contract terms with the vendor's updated state-approved rates.
