The claims batch included several large payments: Townsend Ventures LLC for grandstand work ($573,500.00), Schildberg Construction Co. ($168,660.44) for maintenance rock, Caliber Concrete LLC ($51,348.00) for a grandstand project, and a billing from the Auditor of State for the FY25 audit ($53,380.36). Other notable claim lines included Ziegler Inc. ($15,337.95) and multiple utility and equipment charges. The clerk reported the fund distribution across general, secondary road and capital project funds.
By motion the board approved township clerk wages for Rebecca Luers ($40), Michael Sheeder ($80) and Judy Wedemeyer ($80) and acknowledged manure management plan filings from three operations. The board also moved and seconded to sign the county's FY27 insurance renewal documents through ISAC.
