Calhoun High School Career and Technical Education Coordinator Brandi Williams and CTE Counselor Lance Schultz presented the district’s Goal Progress Measures for College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) at the Jan. 20 board meeting. Lisa Moya of Region 3 assisted with a review of board constraints during the presentation.
After the presentation, Dominic Robles moved and Vinson Phillips seconded approval of the Lone Star Governance items requiring board approval, including GPM 3 and related subitems; the motion passed 7–0. The minutes also note a comprehensive discussion of the Lonestar Governance framework at a later agenda item and that the Lonestar Governance contract expires in May 2026.
