PORT LAVACA, Texas — The Calhoun County ISD Board of Trustees presented the results of Superintendent Evan Cardwell's evaluation in open session on Feb. 11 but took no formal personnel action.
Following the grievance hearing, the board reconvened into closed session at 8:09 p.m. under Texas Government Code §551.074 to discuss roles and responsibilities of the superintendent. The board returned to open session at 9:43 p.m.; at Superintendent Cardwell's request the board presented the evaluation results publicly. The minutes record that no action followed the presentation.
The board subsequently adjourned at 9:55 p.m.
