PORT LAVACA, Texas — The Calhoun County ISD Board of Trustees on Feb. 11 partially granted a parental grievance filed by Lacey Vasquez and adopted procedural steps to address how the grievance was handled.
At a special meeting called to order by Board President Cindy Alford at 6:11 p.m., the board convened in closed session under Texas Government Code sections cited on the agenda to consider a parental complaint filed under Board Policy FNG (LOCAL). Alford recused herself from voting on the grievance.
