Adair County signs Harrison Bridge contract, approves right-of-way payments and sets road-vacation hearing

Separately, the board approved Resolution No. 2026-17 to set a public hearing on vacating a portion of 115th Street (established April 3, 1877) in Section 9, T-77N, R-30W; the hearing is scheduled for 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in the Adair County Courthouse in Greenfield in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 306.
County Engineer Nick Kauffman also provided a maintenance and activities update, noting discussions about rock prices and updates to projects tied to the urban renewal plan. Kauffman exited the meeting at 9:18 a.m.
