Lucas County supervisors set April 6 public hearing for 2027 budget

Chairperson Cathy Reece called the special session to order at 10:00 a.m. and stated the meeting's purpose was to set the date for the 2027 budget hearing. Member Larry Davis moved to approve the agenda; the board voted "aye" and the motion carried. The board also voted to waive the reading of the minutes of the last meeting and approved them as written.
During the meeting Davis moved, and Reece seconded, to approve the document listing the public hearing date. The board unanimously approved the motion to set the hearing for April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the courthouse board room.
There were no recorded objections or amendments to the hearing date during the session. The meeting adjourned sine die following a final motion to adjourn.
The county will hold the public hearing on the 2027 Lucas County budget on April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the board room at the Lucas County Courthouse.
