Parmer County court approves routine minutes, payments and payroll; election results reviewed

At the March 10 meeting the Parmer County Commissioner's Court approved routine business items: minutes from the Feb. 24 regular meeting, accounts payable for March 4 and March 10, and the Treasurer’s payroll report for Feb. 27. Motions were made and seconded and each passed by majority vote as recorded in the minutes.
Election Administrator Jessica White presented precinct-by-precinct results from the 2026 Joint Primary. The court discussed that the posted results on election night were not visible on many computers and considered steps to better inform the public about results going forward.
Why it matters: routine approvals authorize county payments and payroll and the election discussion flagged a public-information problem that the county may address before future result postings.
