Contractors tell Fort Stockton ISD construction projects remain on schedule

FORT STOCKTON — Outside contractors updated the Fort Stockton Independent School District Board of Education on multiple campus construction projects at the board’s Oct. 27 meeting.
Rhett Dawson, representing Henthorn, reviewed the Agriculture Science Barn construction project and reported the project is on schedule. A scheduled BTC update was not provided because a BTC representative was not present.
John Reece, a representative of PSI, told trustees the high school stadium project and a middle school project are expecting to be finished by November. Devin Castleton, representing Centrix, gave an update on Centrix construction projects via Zoom.
No contract awards or final acceptance motions for these projects were recorded in the meeting minutes; the agenda included an agreement with YCM Solutions, Inc. but no action was taken on that item during this meeting.
