Fort Stockton ISD board delegates election-negotiation authority, updates transfer policy and approves security contract

Also during the meeting the board, on a motion by Anastacio Dominguez seconded by Sandra Rivera, voted unanimously to approve updates to the district’s Interdistrict Transfers Policy as it applies to virtual learning. The minutes state the changes were approved without recorded opposition.
After a closed session that began at 6:30 p.m., the board reconvened at 6:48 p.m. and unanimously approved a Centegix agreement and accompanying quote to improve campus security; that motion was made by Anastacio Dominguez and seconded by Ursula Sanchez.
