Committee members discussed an amendment to specify the affected block; a member proposed language identifying the 700 blocks of East College Avenue, but that amendment was withdrawn in favor of approving the resolution "subject to the recommendation from staff," as the city attorney (S6) suggested.
The attorney recorded for the minutes that the motion was made by Fergus and seconded by Mauser; the committee approved the resolution by voice vote and the chair said an ordinance would accompany it at the next council meeting.
