Fort Stockton ISD board certifies Nov. 4 election; Propositions A and B pass, C fails

The Fort Stockton Independent School District Board of Trustees certified the official results of the Nov. 4, 2025 election at a special meeting on Nov. 13, announcing that Propositions A and B passed while Proposition C failed, Board Assistant Secretary Freddie Martinez said.
The meeting record shows Martinez opened the meeting at 12:10 PM, noted that notice had been posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act (Chapter 551, Texas Government Code), and read the certified results provided by Pecos County Elections.
"Proposition A: For 883 votes Against 588 votes Proposition A passed," Martinez said. He then announced, "Proposition B: For 778 votes Against 691 votes Proposition B passed," and, "Proposition C: For 733 votes Against 741 votes Proposition C failed." Proposition C failed by eight votes based on the counts Martinez read.
The board's minutes record that the Fort Stockton ISD Board of Trustees certified the official results of the Nov. 4, 2025 election following those announcements. The special meeting was adjourned at 12:12 PM.
