Board member Anastacio Dominguez moved to accept the 2025-2026 High School Campus Calendar Amendment; Board member Freddie Martinez seconded the motion, which the board carried unanimously with six votes in favor and one member absent. The calendar change was presented to the board as an action item during the meeting.
Dominguez later moved to accept the Targeted Improvement/Academic Plans for the Lone Star and eSchool Prep campuses; Kay Griffith seconded. Board member Freddie Martinez voted no on that motion; the measure passed 5-1 (Sandra Rivera was absent). The board did not record additional deliberation in the minutes beyond the motion and vote.
