Committee hears recruitment update; finance director search moves to panel interviews

"We've narrowed that down to 5 to bring in for a second round of screening interviews, and we're holding panel interviews... next week, March 3," Ratman said.
Alder Hayden asked about the finance director timeline and whether a single candidate had already been interviewed by the mayor; Ratman said staff has progressed through screening rounds and scheduled panel interviews with city leadership. On parks staffing, the chair noted the interim director is the deputy, Tom Flick; Ratman confirmed Flick will step in while the city focuses on one director search at a time.
No formal actions were taken on recruitment items during the meeting.
