At its Jan. 28 meeting the Llano ISD Board of Trustees ordered a General Trustee Election to be held May 2, 2026, to fill two expired full‑term trustee positions (Place 3 and Place 4) and one unexpired one‑year term (Place 5). The board authorized the superintendent to enter into contracts and agreements necessary to effect the election.
The official Order of General Election included with the minutes lists early‑voting locations and schedules for Llano County (the Llano County Library meeting room, Kingsland Public Library meeting room, and the City of Horseshoe Bay council chamber) and states that applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on April 20, 2026. The Order instructs that applications for ballot by mail be mailed to the Early Voting Clerk at P.O. Box 787, Llano, Texas 78643, and provides an elections contact email: elections@co.llano.tx.us.
Board action to call the election was taken by motion and the minutes record the board’s approval. Interested voters and potential candidates should consult the official board order and county election officials for filing deadlines and polling‑place details.
