Llano ISD trustees approve clean audit, call May 2 trustee election and approve book purchases

The Llano Independent School District Board of Trustees voted Jan. 28 to approve the district’s annual financial audit, call a general trustee election for May 2, 2026, and approve a list of instructional books posted on the district website.
Chief Financial Officer Ryan Turner presented the audit for the year ended Aug. 31, 2025, reporting an unmodified (clean) opinion. Trustee Cody Fly moved to approve the audit report; Paul Hull seconded the motion, and the minutes record a 7–0 vote in favor.
The board also approved a General Fund budget amendment and the Nov. 17, 2025 meeting minutes as part of the consent agenda. Rob Wilson moved to approve the consent items, Jeff Kuykendall seconded, and the consent vote is recorded as 7–0.
On a separate motion, the board authorized the superintendent to enter into all contracts and agreements necessary to effect a General Trustee Election on May 2, 2026, to fill full‑term positions for Place 3 and Place 4 and an unexpired one‑year term for Place 5. The minutes record the motion and approval; early‑voting locations, dates, and ballot‑by‑mail instructions are published in the official Order of General Election included with the minutes.
Rob Wilson moved to approve a list of books that had been posted on the district website for at least 30 days; Jeff Kuykendall seconded and the minutes record a unanimous 7–0 vote.
