Caldwell Zoning Board elects Porcello chair, names legal, engineering and planning professionals for 2026

The Caldwell Zoning Board of Adjustment reorganized at its Jan. 7, 2026 meeting, electing Mr. Porcello as chair and Ms. Corliss as vice chair and approving a slate of professional appointments and the board’s 2026 meeting schedule.
The board voted on nominations after roll call. Mr. Tucci nominated Mr. Porcello for chair, seconded by Mr. Tober; the roll call recorded one abstention by Mr. Porcello on his nomination and the board approved him as 2026 Chairperson. Ms. Sules nominated Ms. Corliss for vice chair, seconded by Mr. Tucci; Ms. Corliss was approved as Vice Chairperson.
In a single motion moved by Mr. Irwin and seconded by Mr. Tucci, the board approved professional appointments for 2026: Robert Cosgrove, Esq. as Board Attorney; Neglia Group as Board Engineer; T and M Associates as Board Planner; and Brittany Heun and Kim Conlon as Board Secretaries. Each appointment was confirmed by roll-call vote.
The board also adopted its 2026 calendar of meetings, scheduling monthly sessions generally on the first Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Saint Aloysius Church Gymnasium, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, unless otherwise noted. The board approved minutes from the Dec. 3, 2025 meeting (with abstentions by Ms. Marinucci, Mr. Tucci and Mr. Camerino) and authorized two invoices from Durkin LLC for application review ($375 and $250).
The reorganization items were procedural and concluded without public comment; the board moved next to a variance application on the agenda. The meeting adjourned at 7:28 PM.
