On personnel appointments the board approved Candace McGee as a substitute bus driver for the district’s 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) program at Bibb County High School and approved Michelle Cross McDonald to volunteer as a music clinician for a joint band concert on March 19, 2026. The board approved a field trip for West Elementary second‑grade students to Shark Tooth Creek in Aliceville, Alabama, on May 6, 2026; the district noted students would explore the creek in ankle‑deep water.
The board also acknowledged that March 2026 financial statements and bank reconciliations were reviewed at a recent work session and approved bills and payroll for March 2026 by voice vote.
All motions carried by voice vote; the minutes approval earlier in the meeting passed with one abstention. The board announced the next work session on April 8, 2026, at 1 p.m. and the next regular meeting on April 14, 2026, at 5 p.m.
