A public hearing on the proposed agreement drew no public comments, and the council adopted a resolution authorizing annual appropriation tax-increment payments and pledging certain tax-increment revenues to pay the agreement.
The council’s recorded vote on the resolution was unanimous (5-0). The approval starts the city’s contractual relationship with Robinson, Inc.; specific construction schedules, permitting steps and financial details beyond the pledge of tax-increment revenues were not specified in the hearing record.
Staff said the agreement is intended to facilitate the manufacturing project while phasing public infrastructure investments around the site. Additional administrative steps and any required permits will be handled by city staff and returned to council as needed.
