The council opened the public hearing at 6:42 p.m.; no members of the public spoke and the hearing closed at 6:43 p.m. The council then advanced and adopted an ordinance amending the official zoning map to include the rezoned parcel; the readings and publication vote were recorded 4–0 among members present.
City staff said the conditional M‑1 classification aligns with the comprehensive plan’s future land use designation for that area. The action allows development review and permits to proceed under the conditions attached to the rezoning; any project approvals will follow standard site‑plan review and permitting processes.
