The board approved the meeting agenda by roll call (motion by Martinez; second by Veil Leon) and opened votes on the consent calendar. The single motion to approve consent items 9.2 through 9.47 passed by online vote 4–0 (student board members recorded aye votes; one trustee was absent).
Action items passed without substantive debate. The board approved superintendent resolutions and related items including:
- Resolution 25‑32: California Week of the School Administrator (Oct. 12–18) - Resolution 25‑33: Native American Heritage Month (November 2025) - Resolution 25‑34: National School Psychology Week - Resolution 25‑36: National School Lunch Week (Oct. 13–17) - Board bylaws second reading (Bylaw 9‑11) - Pupil and personnel services board policies - Prop 28 annual report (educational services) - After‑school education and safety plans - Resolution 25‑35: Request for continued funding for the California State Preschool Program for FY 2026–27
