Fallbrook board approves minutes, MOUs and updated policies; consent agenda passes

The Fallbrook Union Elementary School District governing board approved routine business and personnel items Monday following student presentations and administrative reports.
The board voted to approve the minutes of the Oct. 2, 2025 regular meeting. Trustees also approved a resolution authorizing accounting for compensated absences in accordance with GASB guidance, and they adopted memoranda of understanding with the California School Employees Association Chapter 307 and with the Fallbrook Elementary Teachers Association.
The board approved several board policies on second reading and adopted the early‑childhood instructional calendar for the 2026–27 school year. Trustees discussed a consent‑agenda item related to a contract with the district foundation; that item was withdrawn at the meeting so trustees could review materials and the item will return in December.
All motions called for a second and passed on recorded votes. Several trustees offered brief comments thanking staff and acknowledging community volunteers. The meeting adjourned after the consent agenda passed.
