At the Sept. 11 meeting, Stephanie Baxter of the Fahlberg Community Planning Group asked the Fallbrook board to agendize a letter to the applicant of a proposed high‑density housing project located across from William H. Frazier Elementary School.
Baxter said the planning group has discussed the proposal with community members and school staff and that the project would affect school operations and neighborhood traffic. "I would like to request that the board agendize a letter that is addressed to the applicant, outlining the specific impacts that would affect William H. Fraser specifically," Baxter said, asking the board to consider coordinating with the Boys & Girls Club and the Child Development Center.
She also urged the board and community to press the county to preserve or purchase existing ball fields instead of seeking replacement land that could cost significantly more. Baxter offered to help prepare the requested materials and asked trustees to consider placing the request on next month’s meeting agenda; the board did not take formal action during the meeting.
The request is pending; Baxter said she would provide contacts and project information to staff to facilitate next steps.
