The superintendent also described steps taken during the outage—fire-watch staffing, Chromebook distribution for remote learning and coordination with a local contractor on temporary power—and thanked families and staff for flexibility.
What happens next: district leaders said they will continue coordinating with contractors and insurance and will bring details about the transformer replacements to the board at a future meeting. No contract award or funding amount for the transformer work was announced in the public session.
