Parks and Recreation Commission reappoints Scott Henson as chair, names Rodney Woodbury vice chair

The Boulder City Parks and Recreation Commission reappointed Scott Henson as chair and selected Rodney Woodbury as vice chair during its Jan. 26, 2026 regular meeting.
During the nomination period a commissioner proposed Henson for chair; the commission then approved the nomination by voice vote. Commissioners subsequently nominated and approved Rodney Woodbury for vice chair. The commission also approved corrected minutes from the Sept. 22 meeting after a member requested absence corrections for two people.
The actions took place during the meeting’s opening business and were approved by voice vote; no roll-call tally was recorded in the meeting record.
The meeting then proceeded to department reports and project updates from Director Julie Callaway and division coordinators.
