Eatonville board honors choir teacher, previews community events and stadium opening

Superintendent S3 provided a facilities update: asphalt and related work for the stadium and track is underway and the contractor expects significant completion by the end of the month, with a Community Day noon ceremony planned to celebrate the opening. "They've assured us that they'll be ready for a big event for our community day," the superintendent said.
The district also noted upcoming events at Pierce College useful to families and Running Start students and reminded the community about a town hall tomorrow hosted by Representative Marshall in the high school auditorium.
The meeting concluded with thanks to staff, volunteers and families; no formal votes were taken on programs or facilities at this session.
