Princeton Planning Board carries Bajaj subdivision modification to May 28

The Princeton Planning Board on Thursday, March 19, 2026, took jurisdiction of a modification-of-condition application for Adarsh K. Bajaj and carried the matter to the board's May 28 meeting.

The chair read the application into the record as a request to modify a condition of subdivision approval for property at 1735 Stewart Road West (Block 3401, Lot 1.03), in Zone RA (T/R1), filed as P2525-700SP. Board members and staff discussed the pronunciation of the applicant's name; staff said, “I'm not a 100% sure. I've been saying Bahaj.”

The board was told that proof of publication and service for the application were in order and that the planning board had jurisdiction to hear the matter. The chair announced the application would be carried to the May 28 meeting and staff confirmed no further public notice would be required for that date. The board did not take a formal vote to defer the hearing, consistent with the chair’s statement that a vote was unnecessary.

Earlier in the session staff reported that the site planning committee meeting scheduled for the previous day had been canceled for lack of agenda items and that the April meeting was likely to be canceled as well. The board also deferred consideration of the minutes listed on the agenda to its next meeting.

With no other business, the chair moved to adjourn; Miss Battle seconded, the chair called for the ayes, they were voiced, and the meeting ended. The matter for Adarsh K. Bajaj will next appear on the Princeton Planning Board agenda on May 28, 2026.
