Inspire Theater briefs Westland council: shows selling out, theater seeks storage and repairs

Len Fisher, managing director of Westland’s Inspire Theater, thanked the council for time to brief them on the nonprofit community theater’s season. Fisher said Inspire is in its 21st season and that recent shows are selling out, bringing roughly 1,000 people into the city for each production and benefiting local businesses.
Fisher invited council members and residents to the theater’s next show, 'No Stone Unturned,' which opens June 12 and whose tickets go on sale April 6; auditions are scheduled for March 30 and April 1. He also asked the council and community to help the nonprofit find more storage space for costumes and props, a company that could offer a deal on an electric sign, assistance with parking-lot repairs, and support for roofing work.
Council members thanked Fisher for the presentation and said they would look for ways the city could assist and follow up with the theater.
