Alder Fenton asked why alternatives 1 and 5 were selected for inclusion; staff responded they could not answer that question in the meeting because Director Stempa, who has the detailed procurement information, was not present. Staff offered to have Director Stempa provide the requested explanation after the meeting or to follow up with Alder Fenton directly.
Committee discussion otherwise focused on the contract amount and the 10% contingency; no amendments or changes to the award were proposed. The committee approved the contract as presented.
The committee did not set an implementation date during the meeting. Staff will provide follow-up information about the selection of alternatives and any schedule or start dates once Director Stempa supplies the details.
