At the May 8 executive board meeting, the chair presented a resolution to revise Dixmoor’s meeting schedule so committee meetings would begin at 5:00 p.m., allowing the executive board to meet earlier and avoid waiting until 6:00 p.m.
Trustee Webster moved to adopt the resolution and Trustee Smith seconded. The board recorded roll-call responses in favor of the change; trustees who answered “yes” on the record included Trustee Webster, Trustee Smith, Trustee Tyson, Trustee Frank Muse, Trustee Mitchell and Trustee Macbeth. The chair declared the motion carried.
Why it matters: changing committee start times alters when committees will conduct preliminary business and may make attendance and administrative scheduling easier for staff and members.
The vote was recorded during the meeting; no amendments or conditions were added to the resolution on the floor.
