Township approves youth‑committee appointment and March warrants, discusses clerk vacancy

At the March 17 meeting the board approved two formal actions and discussed personnel planning.

Appointment: The board moved and approved advice and consent to appoint Monique Shaw to the committee on youth for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2028. Trustees noted Shaw's experience as a social worker with training on the '40 developmental assets' and expected she would be an asset to the committee.

Bills and audits: The board separated township and road district expenditures for clarity and approved the March warrants: township $65,267.04 and road district $169,429.30.
