The Sayreville Zoning Board of Adjustment on March 25 approved four routine resolutions, voted to approve the February 25 minutes, and addressed administrative matters including redaction of sensitive information and distribution of the 2025 annual report.
During the meeting a member pointed out two W-9 forms included in the applicants’ packet that contained Social Security numbers. Board members and staff discussed whether those numbers would be part of the public record; the clerk and staff confirmed the township maintains the files and that Social Security numbers are an exception to disclosure and will be redacted from public copies. The chair confirmed redaction will be performed.
The board then considered and approved four resolutions by motion and roll-call vote (addresses noted in the record: 80 Buchanan Avenue; 6125 Main Street time-extension; 16 Deerfield Road shed; and an item on Johnson’s Lane). The board also moved and approved the minutes from its February 25, 2026 regular meeting.
A staff member handed out the 2025 annual report and asked members to read it so it can be discussed at the next meeting; the staff summary described 2025 as a typical year for the board’s caseload with nothing outstanding requiring ordinance changes.
The meeting concluded with the chair adjourning the session.
