Mike described the change: "There is a clubhouse with 50 Kirby...the accessible ramp was installed, but, frankly, the door is swinging in the wrong direction. So they're proposing to make the front doors the accessible route with a minor change to concrete for the ramp...that's all it is in a nutshell." Because only the members who originally voted on the approval could participate in this matter, the board first determined whether the proposed change was "insignificant" and therefore could be acted on without a new public hearing. A motion that the amendment was not significant was made and seconded, and eligible board members then voted to adopt the resolution to amend the condition without further public notice.
The decision means the clubhouse entrance change can proceed under the previously approved project framework; the board recorded the procedural finding that the amendment did not warrant a new hearing.
