Board recognizes West Virginia Young Writers winners and Hooberson Heights educator Sarah Lilly

The board also honored Sarah Lilly of Hooberson Heights Primary as the district's I Ready Extraordinary Educator for 2026. Board members and other speakers offered brief congratulations and remarks praising student achievement and faculty support. The recognitions were presented early in new business and were followed by the Critical Response Group presentation on mapping school facilities.
