At its Sept. 17 meeting, the Romeoville Village Board approved a set of ordinances and resolutions including an amendment to the Class D liquor license rules, a license agreement to store training vehicles with Heidelberg Materials Midwest, and a contract arrangement for electric vehicle (EV) chargers to be installed with assistance from grants and utility incentives.
Village attorney Mr. Vogel described Ordinance 25-20-09 as a “small adjustment” to Class D liquor licenses that would permit wine sales where previously only beer was allowed, with limits that alcohol sales may account for no more than 25% of a licensee’s revenue; the ordinance also would prohibit those licensees from obtaining gaming…
