The shelter will match existing park aesthetics and provide additional shade near the recently installed agility course. Trustees approved the resolutions accepting the quotes and authorizing purchases as part of the consent agenda.
The village manager and trustees noted the adaptive sports field will host a junior national wheelchair softball tournament in August and that the new amenities are expected to improve accessibility and spectator experience. Installation timing was not finalized at the meeting.
