The Spring Hill Board of Mayor and Aldermen recorded several unanimous actions on Dec. 1:
- Consent agenda: approved by voice vote; items included a public meetings schedule, equipment purchases, bid awards, easement vacations and several project-creation/resolution items. Outcome: approved, 8 to 0.
- Resolution 25-274: request that Williamson Health and Williamson County place a third Williamson Health ambulance base in Spring Hill (as amended to distribute copies to county commissioners). Mover: Vice Mayor Linville. Second: Alderman Murray. Outcome: approved, 8 to 0.
- Ordinance 25-27: first reading enacting supplement S6 to the code of ordinances. Motion by Vice Mayor Linville; second by Alderman Murray. First reading approved, 8 to 0.
- Resolution 25-276: establishing an employee service appreciation award (one-time post-tax payments of $500 for full-time and $250 for part-time employees) with additional budget authority requested by staff; outcome: approved, 8 to 0.
- Resolution 25-286: accept arbitrage compliance report and authorize payment of IRS rebate for 2020 bonds (report indicated a little over $100,000 owed for unearned interest); outcome: approved, 8 to 0.
Where the transcript recorded tallies, the clerk reported vote counts as 8 to 0. Several items were moved by Vice Mayor Linville and seconded by Alderman Murray; the transcript does not record individual roll-call votes for each member.
