Three commissioners to be appointed April 7; outgoing members thanked at March 25 meeting

At the March 25 Planning Commission meeting, Senior Planner Genevieve Federighi told commissioners that three seats will be appointed or reappointed at the April 7 City Council meeting. She also thanked three commissioners who are reaching the end of their terms.
“...a huge thank you to the 3 commissioners that are coming to the end of their terms, commissioner Orcutt, commissioner English, and commissioner Bwate Bwateng,” Federighi said, acknowledging their service and saying staff looked forward to seeing them in the community.
Outgoing commissioners offered brief remarks. One commissioner called the experience a pleasure and thanked staff and director-level support. Another spoke of growth opportunities from attending planning conferences and walking tours and thanked the commission and staff for the support and learning opportunities. The meeting adjourned after a motion and voice vote.
Next steps: City Council will consider appointments or reappointments at its April 7 meeting; the Planning Commission’s May 13 meeting was announced as canceled and future meetings will move to Zoom, per staff.
