Staff said the chassis purchases will be followed by upfitting for snow-and-ice operations and other divisions; delivery of the chassis was estimated at about one year. "These are mainly used for snow and ice operations," a Public Works staff member said, adding the purchases will come through the Sourcewell purchasing cooperative.
