Council approves committee assignments, names Reva Chambliss vice chair and confirms TAB appointments

The Metropolitan Council approved a slate of standing committee assignments, special advisory committee memberships and appointed Reva Chambliss as council vice chair, effective March 12.
The chair presented committee chairs and vice chairs for community development, environment, management and transportation committees and noted that assignments are not immutable and may be adjusted. "That the Metropolitan Council approve Reva Chambliss as the vice chair of the council," the chair said while presenting the slate.
Council also approved appointments to the Transportation Advisory Board representing transit: Tim Marino and Abdi Ise, with alternates Andrew Eicham and Simon Bracey Lane, to terms ending Dec. 31, 2027. Council Member Barber thanked applicants and emphasized the importance of transit representation on TAB.
The council moved and approved the committee assignments, the vice chair appointment and the TAB appointments by voice vote.
